No entry visas are required whatsoever for citizens of the countries with which Bulgaria has a visa-free system, or of organized tourists who have bought a package tour.
Also no entry visas are required for citizens of the European Union.
Working Hours
Offices are open 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday), banks operate between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday), and shops are open 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 pm. Monday to Friday and Saturday from morning until noon.
Medical Service
First aid and consultation in emergencies are to be found free of charge.
Exchange
The official currency of Bulgaria is leva which currently equals to 0.35 pounds. You can perform currency exchange in banks and 24-hour change bureaux. The exchange rate is announced every day.
Credit Cards
Main credit cards like Diners, Visa, Master card, American Express are widely used in all services like shops restaurant and hotels.
